Prendre le temps de se faire un bon petit dej’ pour bien commencer le week-end 😋

La nuit fut courte, alors j’en profite pour prendre des forces avant d’enchaîner une matinée en cuisine pour vous préparer de nouvelles recettes 😛😬. Ce matin, je me suis faite une petite folie 🤗, des pancakes Choco banane! 
Pour la recette pour 1 à 2 personnes :
- 50 gr de farine d’avoine saveur brownie ( possibilité de prendre de la nature + 30 gr de sucre avec 2 CS de cacao amer)
- 1 oeuf - 100 gr de fromage blanc 0%
- 1/2 sachet de levure chimique - 10 gr de chocolat - 1 banane
- Du coulis de chocolat, ici du fait maison avec de la pralinoise et du lait concentré 
Mélanger la farine, l’œuf, la levure et le fromage blanc jusqu’a l’obtention d’une pâte homogène.
Dans une crêpière, faire cuire les pancakes en y déposant 1 CS de pâte. Laisser cuire 2 minutes et retourner.
Répéter l’opération. Couper la banane en lamelles. Monter la tour en alternant pancakes et rondelles de banane. Terminer avec une touche de coulis de chocolat et du chocolat.

Déguster aussitôt.

🐔 100gr de taquitos de pollo a la plancha (ya hechos)

🍄 Champiñones

⏺️ Como las bases no son refrigeradas tardan muy poquito en hacerse, en cuanto el queso está derretido ya lo saco, y son alrededor de 5 minutos a 180 grados.

👏 Bien rica que estaba y bastante más ligera que una pizza normal al llevar una base muy fina (70gr de fajita) y queso con un contenido moderado de grasa como es la mozzarella, así que para darse el capricho está más que bien 👌

It’s been an interesting year of trying to navigate this season that I am in. To all the single girls who are standing with me, I want you to know I see you.

I want you to know that it’s perfectly valid to desire finding a partner to go through life with. We are all hardwired to need connection. I’ll be the first to admit that while being single has had some amazing benefits, it has also been grueling at times.

I want you to know you don’t have to settle for “good enough.” Singleness can often feel uncomfortable, and as humans we appreciate comfort. But please have the courage to wait for what you deserve, what I know is out there.

Love is not a one size fits all.

There will be new seasons. And instead of looking back at this time of your life remembering the discomfort, I hope you can look back and appreciate the time you had to yourself. To get to know YOU. Your hopes, wildest dreams, and desires. To look back and know this time is what prepared you for whatever gifts your life has in store.

It can be disheartening to see all of your friends going through the stages of life you hoped you would be at right now. But being single is far too often looked at as a negative. I know this time by myself, while sometimes feels heavy and lonely, is preparing me for my future someone. And it’s allowing me to embrace life as it is, and not worry too much about what the future holds.

1. Sit such that the right knee is directly above the left knee.
2. Stretch your left arm and fold it behind the back.
3. Now stretch your right arm upwards, then fold it over the right shoulder.
4. Make sure the back of the left hand is touching the spine while the palm of the right-hand faces the spine.
5. Try to touch the fingers of both hands behind the back.
6. Breathe normally in this position for up to 2 minutes.
7. Come back to your normal position and repeat on the other side.

healthylife Every Friday night, we eat pizza. Most Saturdays, we get cookies from Crumbl. We also love ice cream and bread and chips and burgers. Some might think this makes us unhealthy people. I think this just makes us regular people. Because here’s the thing. I get asked about the best way to lose weight and get healthier, and the answer is whatever way you can sustain for the rest of your life. Even when I was trying my hardest to lose weight, I never cut out a certain food or food group. The idea of that makes me straight up sad! People say losing weight is the easy part and keeping it off is the hard part, but I completely disagree. I think that‘a only true when you do a quick fix or extreme diet because sure the weight comes off fast, but it’s not sustainable long term! And so the weight comes back. I’ve always said that if the method wasn’t one I can do it forever, it wasn’t one worth doing at all. For me, that came down to tracking calories and macros which helped me reach my goals but also taught me how to balance my foods in a healthy way. And THAT is something I knew I could do forever! The goal is obviously to be a healthy person and fuel my body correctly which to me looks like lots of fruits and veggies and proteins and nutrients and sometimes pizza and cookies. I promise you that making small changes that you can consistently stick with will make a way bigger difference, especially long term, than just doing something for a minute and then reverting back to the original bad habits. And if you can commit to that, I can promise you you’ll be successful 💛

One of my favourites... mostly because it has Halloumi in it 😍
Recipe below: .

RECIPE: Heirloom Tomato and Halloumi salad - serves 4
Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 5 minutes

INGREDIENTS:
4 large heirloom tomatoes
100g cherry roma tomatoes
Halloumi cheese 250g - slice into 1 cm pieces
1/2 Lemon
1/4 cup basil leaves torn
1/4 cup mint leaves torn
1/2 tablespoon of dried oregano
4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste.
METHOD:
1. In a medium bowl add roughly chopped heirloom tomatoes and cherry tomatoes. Leave some whole and the rest cut in half. Add herbs to the tomatoes and lightly toss.
2. Mix in a small bowl the olive oil and red wine vinegar with salt and pepper. Then add to the tomatoes. Transfer to a serving tray.
3. Lightly oil a frypan on medium heat. Place slices of halloumi in the frypan and fry until golden brown on each side.  Squeeze half a lemon over Halloumi whilst cooking. Serve halloumi straight away with tomatoes.

In the past, even just last year, I would have never done something like this. I would have convinced myself not to do it because I HATE long distance running, and I definitely wouldn’t have done it ALL-BY-MYSELF.

I haven’t run in 15 years. But, I put a 5K on my vision board for 2019, and tonight I made it happen in the freezing cold, decked out in allll the Christmas gear as I ran through a Christmas light display.🎄

I finished today’s race HIGH ON LIFE, and so very thankful for trainers that push my physical limits every single day.

Thankful that Autumn taught me dedication and how to breathe through the work, Shaun T taught me tenacity and heart, and Jericho brought out my inner badass. Thankful for Amoila’s voice that was in my head when it started to feel really damn hard to maintain my pace in that last half of the race.

AND thankful for a community that opened my eyes to a greater vision for myself, and for my life.

I finished at 27:07 minutes, maintaining a 8:30/9:00 mile pace, and ended in 13th place out of over 50 runners in my age bracket. It was a great place to start, but it’s just the beginning.

This little 5K? It’s just the start of the magic that still lies ahead of me. I just know it ❤️🥰

Oh, and this shirt? Another sign of the change in me in this past year because I have now turned myself into a full-fledged morning person on ALL days, not just Christmas morning 😜
